Once we reached out and had an agreed upon timeline in place all went very quickly. Our house was sold in record time, with multiple offers and for over asking. This was our second home that we have sold with Amy and we have had the same experiences both times.

Both times we pre-inspected and did some minor staging to prepare for the sale. Because we went into the process understanding that this was a business deal we were focused on doing what we needed for a successful sale and process and reserved our emotional moments for after the offer was in place and we could relax and prepare mentally to make the move. Amy did a good job of providing information and feedback as needed throughout the process to keep us on track.

What do you love about the community where you recently purchased your home?
Our connection to the Regents Park neighborhood in Anderson Township is special in that Alex grew up here. His parents were original owners and they watched the neighborhood come to life. Alex tells stories about riding his bike through the streets as homes were being built and playing with other kids in the woods. We are now part of the next evolution of Regents Park. While the neighborhood is changing over from original owners to more families with young kids some traditions are still in place such as the Christmas Eve luminaries that line all of the streets in the neighborhood and kids (ours included) still love to go play in the woods. We are excited to be a part of it all.

What is your favorite thing about your new home? 
1) Location, location, location. We love that our new house is in a neighborhood with big private lots with mature trees and quite streets. All while super close to the highway, Anderson Town Center, the Kid’s school and the swim club. Alex is able to commute to Children’s Main Campus very quickly which is a huge bonus and I can get to CVG airport quickly when I travel out of town. The new build neighborhoods in Anderson have beautiful custom homes but often the lots are very small and there is not a lot of privacy or mature trees which we really wanted. This neighborhood fits our personalities.

2) An opportunity to make this our “forever home.” We agreed to buy Alex’s childhood home with the intention of making it truly ours and staying here until our kids are grown and long gone from the nest. We have started some renovations with more to come. It’s an exciting process.
